Its a very useful and compact, very impressed how lightweight it is. Would recommend it to others. Perfect price for a used piece of history.

I just bought one of these. Yes they are used and very slightly dented but no big deal to me, still a lot of life in them and a great set. Mine came without the aluminum pan that sits down on the lower vented base to hold the alcohol stove. THAT is a different issue. If you are going to sell these with parts missing, then you should say so and describe whats missing. Easy to miss something like that, but orders should be checked before shipment for completeness. Hey people, if we want work to come back to the USA, then lets tighten up and fly right.
[SurvivingNStyle.com] Thanks for your review Tom. You're absolutely right about checking before shipping, our mistake. Your missing pan will be shipped out to you right away. As an added bonus for our goof we're sending you a Free Shipping coupon code to use on your next purchase from SurvivingNStyle.com. Thanks again!

The Swiss Meta 50 that I received was in well used condition. If I wanted to practice auto body repair my Meta 50 would be an excellent candidate to practice with due to the amount of dents in it. For the $24 I paid it is not too bad.
Editor's Note: The Meta - 50 stove kits are described and sold as "used army surplus condition", they are not new, pristine stoves. Some will have been used more than others but all are in good working condition as basic, inexpensive survival or backpacking stoves.
All prices are in USD.
